Jason’s NEO Basic 2165

A feedback from one of our visitors, Jason:

I had my brand new NEO basic 2165 for 24.5k sa megamall..as I type this message, okay naman yung unit, yun nga lang, it seems common talaga ang heat, pero kung nasa aircon nman ako palagi, hindi cya umiinit, lumalamig pa nga nga lol…yun nga lang parang hindi yung packaging nya…

although very good specs, dual core 120gb sata 1gb ram, wifi, webcam, blutooth, dvdwriter, 14.1 wxga, walang problema sa drivers….maayos ko naman na install yung XP sp2, pero medyo may kabagalan talaga kapag vista so i decided to make it XP again…

sana hindi ako pumunta sa NEO service center sa mega to bring my laptop for repair eventhough sa tabing stall ko lang cya binili….

magagalitin kc ako at baka mamura ko ng todo yung taga NEO just in case na hindi maganda after sales support nila…

i agree with some that CLEVO is the real maker of NEO, rebranded lang to cater to regional markets pero its still CLEVO…

Goodluck sa ating mga NEO users!!!!

  2. Dude, how is your laptop doin’? Can you post an update regarding your experience with this model? i’m also planning to buy one of these Neo Basic series.

Also, I wish to know if you have tried the TV-out capability. How about WLAN and Battery?

Based on your experience, what’s the current satisfaction rating can you give to your laptop (scale of 1-10, 10 as highest)?

  3. recently I acquire this NEO laptop from promo of PLDT, after a month, the LCD crack, might be due to heat inside my car. I inquire already but the price is 3times than ordinary LCD monitor. I rather buy a 14″ monitor and replace on it. better buy a laptop that is well known in market rather than buying this kind of laptop.
