Sharing Laptop Experiences
From Chris;
hello guys.. i bought a neo laptop last week at octagon its neo 2235 its already a core 2 Duo 2ghz, 2gb ram,320gb hard disk.
the good-
it only cost me 30k compared to acer 4637 which cost 33k
watching movies, surfing the net and encoding is a breezethe bad-
i get nervous when i open up discussions in the internet regarding the neo which is negative most of the time
it only takes 1.5 hours for the battery when watching movies
the handle near my keyboard gets so warm that its a big problem expecially when i’m encoding for long hours.GUYS IF ANY OF YOU OUT THERE HAS SIMILAR LAPTOPS TO MINE PLEASE EMAIL ME SO WE CAN SHARE INFORMATION REGARDING THE PROPER CARE AND MAINTENACE FOR OUR NEO BASIC 2235 OR NEO BASIC 3185. From Regie;
I actually bought a NEO laptop (B 2148N)just last week. The thing is, I did not buy it for me, but for the department where I’m under. I was given a budget of 30k, and it was up to me to buy any brand with the best specs I can come up with.
I asked/consulted 2 friends, both used neo before, and they said that you’ll get your money’s worth with it.I figured, the specs are good enough for me, it’s cheap, and the dealer where I bought it happens to be a very reputable service center of cellphones and incidentally an authorized one for neo too. So yeah I went ahead with my decision.
I asked the computer whiz in the place where I work the next day whether I should worry about it, and he told me that I should worry more if the laptop is handled carelessly, then problems will certainly crop up.
Still, finding this website/forum, I will keep everyone posted about the performance of the mentioned laptop, as well as the after sales service…(which I hope I wont need if it’s about repairs or anything related to it.
Thanks For Chris and Regie for sharing their laptop experiences with us, let us help each other by sharing our laptop experiences.
